Langtang Valley & Holy Gosainkund Trek

Park the 1st Park established in mountainous region of Nepal Himalaya covering 1,710 sq.km areas, but this trekking also leads to its buffer zone near Kathmandu valley and beyond east extending to Jugal Himal range linked with Dorje Lakpa at 6,980 meters. The Northern wall of mountains straddles the border with Tibet. After a wonderful and enjoyable time at Langtang journey continues heading towards Gosainkund with its serene simmering glacial pond regarded as sacred and holy for Hindus and Buddhist as well, in auspicious month of August festival takes place in the full moon as per the Hindu Lunar where thousands of pilgrims reach here to take a dip in this holy pond as blessing, from here heading back to Kathmandu towards South East crossing Lauribina pass at 4,609 meters and 15,100 ft high with awesome panorama of surrounding landscapes with hills, valleys and snow capped mountains and then with a long descend through beautiful woodlands and traditional mid hills farm villages and concluding this overwhelming adventure with a short drive from Sundarijal at the rim of Kathmandu valley to reach Kathmandu city after a remarkable trip to Langtang valley & holy Gosainkund with Annapurna Encounter.
