Tsum Valley The Hidden Shangri-La

This sacred remote region Tsum known as "hidden valley located central north Himalaya, in between the massif mountain range of Mt. Manaslu and Ganesh Himal, for hundreds of years untouched by outside world or by modernization, this amazing valley and the villagers still retains the old traditions, culture as it was for many centuries ago. This fabulous journey to Tsum valley starts from the famous and ancient Gorkha district of Arughat bazaar with a drive from Kathmandu on 145km distance west. The walk follows the Buri Gandaki River, with great view of Manasu and Himal Chuli, then passing several villages of Machha Khola, Chumling and Jagat where the tree lines ends for wild alpine bushes and small juniper trees in arid and desert like landscapes.
