This fabulous journey to Tsum valley starts from the famous and ancient Gorkha district of Arughat bazaar with a drive from Kathmandu on 145km distance west. The walk follows the Buri Gandaki River, with great view of Manasu and Himal Chuli, then passing several villages of Machha Khola, Chumling and Jagat where the tree lines ends for wild alpine bushes and small juniper trees in arid and desert like landscapes.
