Arun Valley to Everest Base Camp Trek

Other side of Everest from Arun Valley to Everest Base Camp adventure starts with a scenic flight to Tumlingtar town a plateau, located above Arun River, with warm tropical temperature and then heading to Salpa village to begin this great classic route to Everest base camp passing interesting Sherpa and Rai villages of Gothe bazaar, Salpa and the large Pangbung Sherpa village after crossing the high pass of Salpa at 3, 349 meters through beautiful forest of rhododendron and pine trees, and then heading to another pass with first views of Khumbu area including Mt.Everest just after the nice village of Sonam, Guidel and Bung then over Ghaighat pass and towards a large village of Pangbung and getting closer towards the Khumbu region after visiting the lower side of Everest around Arun Valley and Solu area to higher cooler side near Kharekhola and then to Surkhe after Bubsa hill top with first glimpse of Lukla town with plane soaring above Surkhe village and slowly to Phakding village where the trail from Lukla joins.
After completing Other Side of Everest from Arun Valley to Everest Base Camp on the main trail encountering many trekkers on the way, who have flown to Lukla the walk passes several traditional Sherpa villages with its rich old culture and custom with awe inspiring scenery on the walk following the glacial Dudh Kosi river upstream and reaching the famous Sherpa’s capital at Namche Bazaar, with all kinds of modern facilities, hotels, lodge, restaurants, bakery, cyber café, post office and banks.
From Namche heading higher through beautiful serene woodlands of rhododendron, birch, pines and firs tree lines with tremendous views of high snow capped mountain during the walk every day, visiting the famous Tengboche monastery surrounded by high mountains and then slowly reaching at Everest base camp facing the notorious Khumbu ice falls and glaciers and then a climb to Kalapatthar at 5,545 meters the highest point of this trips for mind blowing views of surrounding high peaks with Mt.
